Lake Grampus is a roughly 350‑acre oxbow/impounded lake located in Ashley County, Arkansas, a few miles east of Hamburg and near Montrose/Portland. It was originally part of a bend of Bayou Bartholomew — a major bayou — and is among several oxbow lakes in that system (like “Enterprise,” “Wilson/Wilson Brake,” and “Wallace”).
