The Cherni Lom is a 130 km-long river in northern Bulgaria, a right tributary of the river Rusenski Lom. The Cherni Lom takes its source at an altitude of 480 m on the southern foothills of the Lilyak Plateau, some 1.3 km northeast of the village of Aleksandrovo. Its confluence with the Beli Lom at an altitude of 47 m some 3.2 km east of the village of Ivanovo forms the river Rusenski Lom. Its drainage basin covers a territory of 1,276 km2.
