The Lange Lacke is the largest of over 40 saline lacquers in the Burgenland Seewinkel, a few kilometres northeast of Apetlon. It is fed exclusively by rainwater and its dimensions range between more than 10 km² (with a water depth of up to 80 cm) and complete dehydration due to weather conditions. It is endorheic lake.
