Bintang Bolon is a tidal mangrove creek in The Gambia and one of the important southern tributaries of the Gambia River system. It flows through dense mangrove forests near the village of Bintang in the Lower River Region. With an approximate length of 45–50 km, it is strongly influenced by Atlantic Ocean tides, creating brackish water conditions along most of its course. The bolon is rich in biodiversity and serves as an important nursery ground for many fish species, shrimp and crabs. Its calm, winding channels make it popular for local fishing and small boat travel.
