Vernon Lake is a man-made lake in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. In 1963, Vernon Lake was created by the impounding of Anacoco Creek (Anacoco Bayou), creating a 1,700 ha lake for the purpose of water supply and recreation. The lake is 8.0 km west of Leesville, and 13 km north of Anacoco Lake.
