Lake Thurlow (Thurlow Reservoir), Alabama — often locally referred to simply as Lake Thurlow or Thurlow Lake — is a small hydroelectric reservoir on the Tallapoosa River near Tallassee in Elmore/Tallapoosa Counties. It’s part of the chain of Alabama Power Company impoundments on the Tallapoosa River, downstream from Yates Lake and Lake Martin.
