Lake Tekakwitha in Jefferson County, Missouri is a small reservoir formed by an earthen dam just west of Eureka/Pacific in the eastern part of the state. It’s not just the village — the lake itself is a mapped water body on the USGS Pacific topo map and is fed and drained by a local stream channel rather than a major river. Outflow from the dam flows into a local unnamed tributary that would eventually reach a named creek or low-order stream, and then continue toward the Mississippi River basin.
