Lake Halford is a large recreational reservoir in Carroll County, Tennessee, near Huntingdon in West Tennessee. It’s one of the bigger man‑made lakes in that part of the state. Lake Halford is a man‑made impoundment, meaning it was created by damming a local creek or drainage within the watershed. The lake drains into local creeks/tributaries in the area that feed into the Obion River watershed, which ultimately flows to the Mississippi River.
