Kinbasket Lake, also known as Kinbasket Reservoir, is a large man-made lake on the Columbia River in southeastern British Columbia, Canada. Created by the completion of the Mica Dam in 1973, it stretches roughly 216 kilometers between the towns of Golden and Valemount, serving both hydroelectric and recreational purposes.
