Calderwood Reservoir is formed by Calderwood Dam on the Little Tennessee River in the United States. It’s part of an important hydroelectric project in the Appalachian region. Straddles the border of Tennessee and North Carolina in the southeastern United States. How it was created Calderwood Reservoir exists because of Calderwood Dam, a hydroelectric dam built in 1930 by Alcoa (the Aluminum Company of America) as part of a series of dams supplying power for regional industry.
