Burchard Lake is the man-made reservoir in Pawnee County, southeastern Nebraska. Burchard Lake was constructed in the 1950s as a flood-control and recreation reservoir. It is managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and is known as one of the better fishing lakes in southeast Nebraska.
